Mistakes on Your CV

I applied to nearly 60 MedTech jobs during the final year of grad school and got just 4 interviews. That’s a success ratio of less than 7%. I had sought help from at least 15 working professionals in the industry but only one of them provided me with the right insight required for a role […]

This castle is another example of the classic Chin This castle is another example of the classic Chinese proverb " Wealth doesn't last beyond 3 generations and you don't remain poor after 3 generations".

Also, it portrays the fact that "Real estate prices don't always go up."

Story of this castle
It was the private residence of a rich doctor from London, Mitchell Henry. He later became the MP of Galway in the House of Commons.

It was built in 1868. By 1903 the successors couldn't afford to maintain it and sold it to Duke and Duchess of Manchester for £63,000. Due to the gambling problems, they couldn't keep it for long and sold it to a London real estate speculator Earnest Fawkes in 1913.

He also got bankrupt and sold it to the Benedictine nuns for £45,000 in 1920. The nuns who escaped the World war torn areas of Belgium settled here since 1920. They started a girls school which was in operation till 2010. Today it is owned by the Benedictine community.
